Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Mystic Binder, an open-beta creative organization and tabletop storytelling service operated by Ink & Lantern Studio. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

You must provide accurate account information and protect your sign-in credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If local law requires parental consent at a higher age, that consent is required.

You retain ownership of characters, campaigns, maps, lore, notes, sheets, uploads, and other material you create. Mystic Binder and Ink & Lantern Studio do not claim ownership of your creative work.

You give us a limited permission to host, process, back up, and display your content only as needed to operate the service and show it to people you intentionally share with. Connecting an item to a campaign, character, collection, or other context does not transfer ownership.

You control whether eligible content remains private, is shared with collaborators, or is published through Explore or another public feature. Campaign owners and Game Masters may control campaign context, but they do not acquire ownership of a player’s independent character or other separately owned work.

Only upload, share, or publish material you have permission to use. You are responsible for choosing appropriate visibility settings and reviewing content before publication.

Do not use Mystic Binder to break the law; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; impersonate others; distribute malware; evade access controls; threaten or target people; or publish exploitative, hateful, or non-consensual content. The Community Guidelines provide additional detail.

Mystic Binder is under active development. Features may change, and interruptions or defects may occur. We take reasonable steps to preserve user data, but you should export or print irreplaceable material when available. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features while attempting to avoid unnecessary data loss.

We may restrict content or accounts that violate these terms, create security risks, or harm other users. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct or appeal a decision. You may request account or data deletion through the Contact page.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every feature will meet every use case. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
