Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Ink & Lantern Studio handles information when you visit or use Mystic Binder. It applies to the public website, authenticated app, contact form, and collaboration features.

We collect account information such as your email address, display name, role preferences, and authentication identifiers; the creative content you choose to save; collaboration and sharing records; and messages you send through the contact form.

The service and its hosting providers may also process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, timestamps, requested pages, error logs, and security events. Some interface preferences and current-workspace choices are stored locally in your browser.

Mystic Binder does not use behavioral analytics, advertising trackers, session replay, or content scraping to profile how you use the app. The studio learns from feedback you deliberately send through the Contact page.

We use information to authenticate users; store and retrieve their work; connect content to the contexts they choose; provide collaboration, printing, exporting, and publishing features; respond to support requests; protect the service; diagnose errors; and improve accessibility and reliability.

Contact submissions contain only the name, reply email, feedback type, and message you choose to provide. Campaigns, characters, notes, and activity history are not automatically attached.

When you deliberately use a generated feature, the text shown beside that feature is sent to the generation service to produce its reply. For example, Ask the Room sends what you type, and AI Recap sends only the session events marked player-safe. These features do not silently read unrelated Binder content.

You retain ownership of your creative content. Content is not made public merely because it is stored in Mystic Binder. Visibility changes only through features you or an authorized collaborator intentionally use. Attaching content to a campaign or character does not transfer ownership.

Information may be processed by Base44 and other service providers needed for hosting, authentication, database storage, email delivery, security, and app operation. Content is also shown to collaborators or the public when you choose the corresponding visibility or publishing setting.

We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or someone’s safety. We do not sell your personal information or creative work.

Account and creative data are generally retained while your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. Limited backups, security records, or legally required records may persist for a reasonable period. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

You may request access, correction, export assistance, or deletion through theContact page. Deleting a relationship or leaving a campaign should not delete independently owned source content.

Mystic Binder is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information without appropriate permission.
